Conference Presentations

Conferences are where I test ideas, share findings and learn from colleagues across disciplines. My research on contemporary Islam, digital Islam, and AI and religion sits at the intersection of religious studies, the social sciences, and technology, so I value forums where scholars with different expertise can challenge and refine my work.

I also enjoy the challenge of communicating research clearly: presenting findings rigorously for specialists yet accessibly to a wider audience. Below is a selection of talks I have given, in person and online, with links to the organisers’ pages.

I am always glad to hear from conference organisers, universities and community groups: if you would like me to speak on digital Islam, AI and religion, AI and Qur’anic interpretation and translation, or contemporary Muslim thought, please get in touch.
